How to Create Online Surveys and Generate Impressive Illustrated Reports
STEP #1:
CHOOSE BETWEEN A REGULAR ONLINE SURVEY OR A VIDEO RESPONSE ONLINE SURVEY
With regular online surveys, you can create up to 25 questions with 5 possible responses each for survey recipients to answer. You can choose from single answer, multiple answer and open-ended answer type questions. Skip logic is available. You can upload images into any question or any answer.
With video response surveys, you can upload a video or record one from your webcam. Then you can create a list of up to 5 points that you want respondents to address. Your selected target market US consumers will reply to you via their webcams in this qualitative research survey.

STEP #2:
DEFINE THE TARGET MARKET FOR YOUR ONLINE SURVEY
AYTM allows you to define your target market by two different techniques. Using the power of a psychographic prescreening question, you can really nail your target market. Say you only want to only survey consumers who love sushi, have a Facebook profile or own an iPhone 4... no problem. AYTM also offers a standard set of 9 demographic criteria that you can use to define your target market. These include:

As you tweak and adjust the criteria of respondents for your online surveys, you'll see our 'Guesstimated Delivery' meter needle moves. The meter gauges the approximate time to fulfill your survey based on the number of respondents ordered and respondent criteria you selected. The more broadly targeted the target market criteria for your online surveys, the faster your survey is likely to be completed.
As the needle moves closer to the orange zone, the longer we guesstimate it will take for your survey to be completed. If we can't fulfill your survey in a reasonable time frame we will not accept the order. If you see the needle swing into the orange zone, consider broadening some of your target market criteria or ordering fewer respondents.
In many cases, when the Guesstimated Delivery meter is positioned far to the left, you'll have complete target market research within several hours!
STEP #3:
DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ONLINE SURVEY RESPONSE ACCURACY

However, you can add the DoubleCheckdSM option (also patent pending) for extra proof of response accuracy of your online survey answers. By choosing DoubleCheckdSM, each consumer panelist will be presented with your survey twice on separate sessions at least 3 hours apart. They will not know in advance that they will see your survey a second time. Only those panelists who answer your survey exactly the same on the two separate sessions will have their responses added to your statistics. STEP #4:
CHOOSE THE NUMBER OF RESPONSES YOU'D LIKE TO RECEIVE FOR
YOUR ONLINE SURVEY
A basic survey for $29.95 is based on 50 respondents with limited targeting- but you can choose to have up to 400 respondents for your online surveys and target precisely to your needs. Simply use the slider to set the number of respondents that you wish to answer your online survey.
STEP #5:
WRITE YOUR ONLINE SURVEY
Once you've customized your target market, it's now time to write your survey. We encourage you to use our skip logic feature because this gives you the opportunity to really drill down into what your target market thinks.

By clicking "Dashboard" you can view all of the online surveys you have in progress, as well as completed online surveys.
Within minutes of publishing your online surveys, you will likely begin seeing responses. The 'status' shows the percentage of respondents that have answered in relation to your target goal. By clicking the 'Stats' icon, you can see charts and graphs develop in real time as respondents answer your online surveys.
Once 100% of the responses have been gathered, your online surveys are stored in the 'Completed Surveys' section of your dashboard for you to view at any time. The broader the target market, the faster the results of your online surveys will be delivered. Typically, with the broadest range of target market settings, you can expect fulfillment of your online surveys in a few hours! You can stop your survey at any time after 72 hours if it has not been completed and any balance remaining will be credited to your account to be used in future surveys.

REVIEW THE RESULTS OF YOUR ONLINE SURVEYS
Once your online surveys have been completed, it's time to make sense of the data. AYTM offers numerous ways to quickly filter your data and displays the results in easy-to-interpret charts and graphs.

Select a Color Palette
Choose a color palette for displaying results. Choose a color palatte that reflects your company's colors to create branded reporting.
Export Data
Export your data in CSV & XLS format. Choose to export only the current view you've tailored or to export all raw data.
Share The Results of Your Online Surveys
Share the results of your online surveys with clients, business partners, subscribers, vendors, and others. When you share by email, your contacts will receive an email with a link to view the online survey results just as you see them in your Dashboard. Or, create your own email, post the link to your survey results on social media networks such as Twitter and Facebook, or link to the results on your website by copying and pasting the links provided.
Print The Results of Your Online Surveys
By selecting 'Print Current Report', a printable version of the entire report will be generated based on the viewing criteria you have selected. Select 'With cover page' to include all of the criteria of your target market in your report.
